Quentin Hicks joined GeoResources, Inc. in March 2011 as Director of Acquisitions and Financial Planning. Mr. Hicks brings 13 years of M&A, capital markets, finance and accounting experience to GeoResources.
Prior to joining GeoResources, Inc., Mr. Hicks served as a Director in Madison Williams’ energy investment banking practice. During his six year tenure at Madison Williams, Mr. Hicks successfully executed a variety of merger, acquisition, and divestiture transactions for energy clients and also advised clients on public and private equity and debt offerings. Prior to joining Madison Williams, Mr. Hicks worked as an associate in Bear Stearns’ Technology, Media and Telecom investment banking practice in New York. Mr. Hicks’ professional experience also includes a two year tenure as Financial Reporting Manager for Continental Airlines and two years of public accounting experience at Ernst and Young in Houston.
Mr. Hicks holds a Masters in Business Administration with a focus in finance from Vanderbilt University. Mr. Hicks also holds both a Master of Science degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from Texas A&M University. Mr. Hicks passed the CPA exam in 1998 and spent four years as a practicing CPA in Texas from 1998 through 2002. |
