Cathy L. Kruse

Corporate Secretary and Williston Business Office Manager joined GeoResources, Inc. in May, 1981.  She has served as the Corporate Secretary and business office manager since 1981 and Corporate Treasurer from October 1981 through May 1985 and June 1990 through June 2000.  Mrs. Kruse served on the Company’s Board of Directors from June 1996 until the merger in April 2007.  Since beginning her career with GeoResources, Inc. Mrs. Kruse has worked in various aspects of the Company including investor/shareholder relations, land administration, accounting, human resources, and SEC compliance.  Mrs. Kruse is a 1977 graduate from the Atlanta College of Business and a 1981 graduate from the Arizona Institute of Paralegal Training with a Corporate Law and Business Organization emphasis.  Mrs. Kruse serves on the North Dakota Governor’s Council for Workforce Development, the Board of Directors for the North Dakota Chamber of Commerce, and the Board of Directors of the Miss North Dakota Scholarship Organization and was the 2010 President of the Williston Area Chamber of Commerce.   Mrs. Kruse is a member of the American Petroleum Institute, Rotary International and P.E.O.
