Timothy R. Muniz

Vice President Operations, Northern Division, age 31, joined GeoResources’ management team in November 2007 as Operations Manager of the Company’s Northern Division.  In July 2008, Mr. Muniz was promoted to Vice President Operations, G3 Operating, LLC, a Northern Division subsidiary of GeoResources, Inc.  Prior to GeoResources, Inc., Mr. Muniz was employed from November 2005 to November 2007 by Texas American Resources as the Operations Engineer for the Rocky Mountain District.  From April 2005 to November 2005, Mr. Muniz was employed by VortexFlow, LLC, as a Production Engineer in the Rockies, Mid-Con, Canada and Australia.  From August 2001 to April 2005, Mr. Muniz was employed by Halliburton Energy Services as a Field Engineer and in 2003 was promoted to Engineering Manager.  His experience includes engineering, production, drilling, and completion operations in Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico, and now Montana and North Dakota.  He is responsible for all drilling, completion, work-over and production operations in the Northern Division.  Mr. Muniz received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado in 2001, he is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the American Association of Drilling Engineers.
